ARC TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

Welcome to ARC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ARC platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using ARC, you agree to these Terms.

1. OVERVIEW OF ARC

ARC is an interactive storytelling platform that allows users to read and influence branching narrative content generated through a structured system.

All content on ARC is part of a controlled storytelling system owned and operated by ARC, Inc. (“ARC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

By using ARC, you represent that:

  • You meet the eligibility requirements
  • You will comply with these Terms

3. USER ACCOUNTS

You may be required to create an account to access certain features.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activity under your account

ARC is not liable for unauthorized use of your account.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS & BILLING

ARC offers monthly and annual subscription options. Current prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase within the app. Prices may vary by country.

All subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. After the free trial ends, your payment method will be automatically charged the applicable subscription price. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Apple, Google). ARC does not store your payment details.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until that date.

Refunds

All payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

5. CONTENT AND OWNERSHIP

5.1 ARC-Owned Content

All content on the platform, including but not limited to:

  • Stories
  • Chapters
  • Characters
  • Plotlines
  • Narrative structures
  • AI-generated content
  • System architecture

is the exclusive property of ARC.

5.2 AI-Generated Content

Content within ARC may be generated using artificial intelligence systems operating under ARC’s proprietary structure.

You acknowledge:

  • AI is used as a tool within ARC’s system
  • All generated content is owned exclusively by ARC
  • You do not acquire ownership rights to any content by interacting with the Service

5.3 User Influence

Users may influence story outcomes by making choices.

However:

Users do not own, co-own, or acquire any rights to resulting content.

All resulting content remains the sole property of ARC.

5.4 Limited License

ARC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access and read content
  • Use the Service for personal, non-commercial use

You may NOT:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content
  • Sell or exploit content
  • Create derivative works outside the platform

6. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to manipulate or abuse the system
  • Reverse engineer or extract system logic
  • Use bots or automation to generate excessive content
  • Violate any applicable laws

ARC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

7. CONTENT RESTRICTIONS

All content is fictional.

Users may not:

  • Attempt to introduce real individuals into the system
  • Use the platform to generate harmful, illegal, or infringing content

ARC may remove or block content that violates these rules.

8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

ARC may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability
  • Error-free operation

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

ARC makes no warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy of content
  • Reliability of the Service
  • Fitness for a particular purpose

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

ARC shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or content
  • User decisions based on content

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold ARC harmless from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms

12. TERMINATION

ARC may suspend or terminate your access at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You misuse the platform

Account Deletion You may delete your account at any time directly within the app. Deletion is permanent and will remove all associated data from our systems.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

ARC may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
